Best London Childrens Attractions

London is one of the most child friendly ‘big cities’ in Europe with stacks of things to do and see pretty much everywhere you turn. This is Wyndham Grand’s essential guide to our top 5 ‘Things To Do In London For Children’ this summer.

Hamley’s Toy Shop – Every small (and big) kid’s dream shop. Brimming with toys and gadgets for all ages, this shop is World famous. In-fact, you’ll find stuff in here that you’ll not find anywhere else on the planet. You can waste hours in this shop but be prepared for crowds on weekends. Hamleys, 188 – 196 Regent Street, LONDON, W1B 5BT. Hamleys

London Dungeons – For the less squeamish amongst you, go at your peril! The London Dungeons has been a fantastic attraction for years, and it just gets better each year. But be warned, it’s not ideal for the younger children as there are some quite scary and gruesome attractions here, such as ‘Jack The Ripper’, ‘Boat Ride To Hell’ and ‘The Drop Ride To Hell’. London Dungeons, 28-34 Tooley St, London, SE1 2SZ. London Dungeons

Madame Tussauds – Ever wanted to stand next to Barak Obamah, Elvis, David Beckham or even the Queen? Well, here’s your chance. OK… so they may be waxwork models, but they are incredibly lifelike. This world famous exhibition is a great way to kill a good few hours and you’ll not leave disappointed. Madame Tussauds, Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LR. Madame Tussauds

Natural History Museum – One of London’s best (and busiest) attractions, the museum has a huge amount to see on multiple floors including dinosaurs, ancient fossils, butterfly jungle, bug gallery, and loads of practical activities to take part in. It’s also free to get in BUT be warned, the museum can get very busy during holiday times. Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London, SW7 5BD. Natural History Museum

London Zoo – If you fancy some ‘outdoor’ time then we definitely suggest visiting London Zoo. The best thing about London Zoo is that there’s always something different to see, whether it be a Predatory Bird Display, Meet The Monkeys, The Aquarium or perhaps a little Storytelling. You can spend at least half a day here and not see everything so don’t come in a rush. Outer Circle, Regent’s Park, London, NW1 4RY London Zoo

There are obviously loads more attractions for kids in and around London and our staff here at Wyndham Grand will be more than happy to share some further ideas with you and organise your transport. However, we are literally only 15 mins from most of the City’s central attractions.
