The London Restaurant Festival 2013 – Become acquainted with the capital’s culinary superiority in style! The London Restaurant Festival (LRF) is an unabashed all-food affair, which takes place at different venues across the capital during the first two weeks of October.
The festival celebrates London’s thriving and utterly diverse restaurant scene, and with more than 800 restaurants participating, it’s safe to say that foodies will be in ‘seventh heaven’ at this mouth watering autumn event in the capital.
The successful sell-out Tapas Tour is now in its third year and showcases the best Spanish food available in London. You can buy a special LRF passport, which enables you to visit (and eat at) up to six Spanish tapas restaurants in a day. Virtually all of the top London tapas bars will be participating, including Fernandez and Wells, Copita and Barrica, and El Pirata, amongst many others. Be warned though, six visits to six different tapas bars usually means that you will have at least six drinks!
With your unique LRF Japanese Journey passport you may visit up to six of the best Japanese restaurants. Expect to eat at Inamo, Tonkotsu, and other high ranking Japanese restaurants. The Japanese are participating at the festival for the first time and in typical Japanese fashion they will be out to impress.
With the London summer as good as it is, you just want to be out soaking up every ray. When it comes to dining out, we think there is no better option than Chelsea Harbour, with both the Wyndham Grand and Chelsea Riverside brasserie offering some supremely tempting choices.

Complimenting the weather perfectly is the Al fresco BBQ menu available at the brasserie. With a choice of steaks including T-Bone, fillet and sirloin as well as a truly memorable lamb steak and a perfectly spiced peri peri baby spatchcock chicken, this has to be the perfect summer dining choice (there’s bangers and burgers too!)
We are also offering an express lunch menu which offers high taste and low price. Quick and easy with some great choices available, including feta salad (starter), pumpkin gnocchi with truffle oil (mains) and summer berry tart (desert).
If you fancy something Asian instead, you will love the Sushi / Asian inspired menu in the Harbour bar.
The never ending ‘Bank of Dad?’ An unpaid taxi service? An emergency mechanic who comes to the rescue of you and your car and you don’t have to pay a penny? Let’s be honest, we couldn’t live without our good old dads and to show them our appreciation, why not treat dad to something extra special on Father’s Day this year?
In London, like on every occasion, there’s plenty going on in celebration of Father’s Day this year but if you are looking to treat your dad to a five-star meal in the most exquisite of surroundings, then take dad down to the Chelsea Riverside Brasserie on Sunday June 16.
Father’s Day in Chelsea can only be at The Wyndham Grand Hotel’s highly fashionable and elite Chelsea Riverside Brasserie, which is putting on a special three-course roast meal this Father’s Day.
For just £29 per person, you can treat the most special man in your life to a wide choice of mouth-watering starters and desserts and a choice of several roast meats, served with delicious roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Your dad will also have the choice of whether he wants to continue the family tradition of carving the meat at the table himself, or, seeing it is his ‘special day,’ he could let the Chelsea Riverside Brasserie’s more than competent chef take the honour of carving the meat at the table.
Wyndam Grand’s exclusive Chelsea Riverside Brasserie prides itself on serving simple but timeless cuisine that is only made of the finest ingredients that have been sourced locally.
MasterChef UK continues to grow in popularity and has inspired many amateur chefs to push on to the next level. The skills on show are sometimes close to Michelin standard and the chefs seem to possess more skills each year.
With the judging coming in the form of leading chef John Torode and the affable Gregg Wallace (he likes puddings, you know!), the show demonstrates the level of excellence of UK culinary skills.
The first episode of the series aired last night (Tuesday 12th March 2013) which was shot at the Chelsea Riverside Brasserie at Wyndham Grand London Chelsea Harbour.
In the show, five contestants were whittled down to three following a palate test involving sweet stuffed courgette flowers with saffron custard.
The remaining three contestants are then whisked to the Chelsea Riverside Brasserie where, after an hour’s intensive training, they are thrown into a busy lunchtime service, cooking for paying customers under the watchful eye of the hotel’s Executive Chef.
