Now here’s a novel idea for a children’s party in Chelsea. It’s aptly called Tantrum because the owners claim that’s exactly what your kids will do when it comes time to leave. Bold claims as I know only too well how fickle kids can be!

Tantrum HQ is just a stones throw from Wyndham Grand Chelsea on The Kings Road, so perfectly placed to host your child’s party if you wanted to tie it in with your stay at the hotel. The Tantrum team are also available to host your party at the Wyndham Grand London if you so wished.

The concept is simple, a 2 hour themed party for up to 20 children – you choose the theme (Buzz Lightyear, Cars, Hairspray, Minnie Mouse. Patchy Peter etc) and the Tantrum team take care of the rest. The party is normally held within the King’s Road premises and the team organise the food, drinks, entertainment, cake and party bags. Handy if you don’t like the stress of organising parties – I know I don’t….

Children need to be under 6 years old to attend and 3 suggested themes are as follows:

Fairy/Princess – Each of the girls will be given a pair of wings or tiara to transform them into a magical fairy or princess. We will style their hair, paint their nails and use some glitter to add that extra touch of sparkle.

Tropical – The girls will be surrounded by streamers, beach balls and tropical flowers (a hidden parrot is needed to be found by the end of the party to get a special prize!) The girls will be given and flower lei on arriving at the party, (grass skirts can also be provided at an additional cost).

Film theme – The Musical Parties are based on Musical films such as; . Hairspray . High School Musical . Grease . Mamma Mia The girls will arrive at the party dressed to the theme, so get your cheerleading, pink lady jackets and 60’s outfits ready!!!!! The girls will have their hair styled, their nails painted and light makeup or face paint applied to the theme of the party. (Parents permission is needed first).
