London’s new spa and restaurant concept

Following a major renovation project, The Wyndham Grand – London’s only five star all-suite hotel – is announcing the opening of a new restaurant concept in spring 2010, and new spa in early summer 2010.

The hotel is to launch a unique dining concept, Restaurant 2010. This is being developed as a new and inventive interpretation of the pop-up restaurant concept: a permanent space, yet given a different concept and name every year. The menu will be even more responsive, changing on a seasonal basis.

Following the restaurant launch, in early summer a brand new spa will be unveiled, complete with eight treatment rooms – two of which will be double – as well as sauna, steam room, pool and gym. The spa will offer facials, massages, body treatments and wraps with western and eastern influences. Also on offer will be treatments specifically designed for mums to be, a hairdressers, nail bar, and a male grooming menu.

The renovation has already transformed the public spaces in the hotel: the all-new reception area has marble floors and double-sided fireplaces and intimate seating areas. The Harbour Lounge and Library Lounge both offer further spaces for relaxation, and from the Harbour Terrace, guests will enjoy the hotel’s stunning views. Beyond this, the new Penthouse Floor boasts four luxury penthouse suites as well as a contemporary lounge, complete with commissioned sculptures, terrace, bar and dining area.

I think for me the new Penthouse Floor is the most attractive.
