If you’ve got a posh pooch to feed then you might want to think about organic pet food.

Set up by Henrietta Morrison Lily’s Kitchen services the luxury pet food market. The pet food  has been developed in light of advice from the British Association of Holistic Nutrition and Medicine (BAHNM) to create a range of high quality pet food.

Henrietta Morrison, Founder of Lily’s Kitchen says:

“As soon as I started creating the recipes I knew it would have a positive effect on my dog’s (Lily) health. It was also great to see Lily really enjoying her food too! It was clear that the combination of ingredients and chemical additives from other foods I had tried on her, had been upsetting her and so creating a product to suit her needs, in my eyes, was the only option. She was our chief taster throughout the process and still is to this day – if Lily doesn’t approve, the recipe is adapted until she does!”

The range now includes 13 recipes, from Slow Cooked Lamb Hotpot to Homestyle Chicken and Turkey Casserole.  Made in small batches to keep all the nutrition locked in, each recipe is full of beneficial organic herbs including nettle, burdock root, spirulina and rosehips offering health benefits to the pet’s coat, digestion and immune system.

Lily’s Kitchen has recently been named as the ‘Best Pet Food Company in the UK 2009’ by the Ethical Good Shopper Guide.
