River Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant
On the afternoon of Sunday 3 June 2012 a flotilla of boats will gather on the River Thames for the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh plus other members of the Royal Family, will sail in a Royal Barge at the heart of the flotilla. They will be met at Chelsea Pier by The Prince of Wales, Patron of the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, and The Duchess of Cornwall.
The Royal party will walk past a Guard of Honour of Chelsea Pensioners before they board the tender to HMY Britannia. The tender will proceed to Cadogan Pier where Her Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses will board the Royal Barge, the Spirit of Chartwell. They will be met on board by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
The Duke of York, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent will board the ship, the Havengore, at Imperial Pier.
