Spring wedding tips
Tip number one: Be daring
Many contemporary weddings are replacing traditional white with subtle pastels and even yellows and pinks. Tulle and net materials can be used as layers under the traditional wedding dress.
Tip number two: The risky frock
Wedding dresses throughout 2009 were moving towards revealing a little more flesh. In spring 2010 the trend is likely to go further with shorter lengths and comfortable reception dresses.
Tip number three: A hint of black
Couture trends have been moving towards black so why not wedding gowns. Lace additions, piping or embroidery can really liven up the traditional wedding gown.
Tip number four: Pretty accessories
Pearls are back as is beading and lace. Many wedding gown designers now incorporate pockets for safe keeping of wedding day accessories.
Tip number five: Classic Veils
The old style, Hollywood inspired veils have been making a serious comeback in recent years. Otherwise know as birdcage veils – they can make a wonderful addition to the traditional wedding day ensemble.
