Back for a third consecutive year, the Kinetic Art Fair provides insight into innovative kinetic technology led art and creative design. It is produced by Kinetica Musuem and is the first of its kind on British soil. Held in the ample space of the Ambika P3 in the University of Westminster’s School of Engineering, the Kinetic Art Fair exhibits some of the most cutting-edge kinetic, robotic, light, sound, time-based and interdisciplinary new media art.
More than 150 artists from over 35 galleries will be showcasing their artwork, creating a surreal and stunning amalgamation of innovative contemporary art. Collectors, visitors and curators, are not only privileged to be able to witness this unique form of art, but they can also purchase some of the artwork.
Amongst the displays will be an organic table with an antique oriental vase on top. Unbeknown to visitors, the table includes proximity sensors, which cause the vase to react with movement. The movement of the vase depends on the actions of the people around the table – spellbinding, for sure.
