If you are an Al Pacino fan then you may want to think about heading down to London this June. The great American actor is to do a one man show at the London Palladium on Sunday June 2,2013. The Hollywood legend will talk about his lifetime work and have a question and answer session with the audience.
Talking about his love of London and how he regards the city as being ‘home,’ Al Pacino said in a press statement:
“I’m really looking forward to coming to London. I have always felt at home there. I consider it an honour to be appearing at the Palladium and I will be glad to be back on the boards in your great city.”
Al Pacino is one of the few actors to win so many of the elitist awards in the industry, including, an Oscar, an Emmy and the Tony Award for his exceptional work in film, television and the theatre.
Al Pacino’s films need little introduction, with the Godfather trilogy may well being the most famous, quickly followed by the nail-biting Heat, where he played alongside Robert De Niro and as the highly believable hard-man,Tony Montana in Scarface.
It was however his role in ‘The scent of a woman,’ which won Pacino Oscar back in 1992.
Ticket prices start at a fairly hefty £80 but it’s not everyday that you will find yourself in a position to pop a question to one of Hollywood’s true greats. What sort of question would you put to Al Pacino if the possibility arose?
