The People’s Fringe – Where the London 2012 Games meets the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!
When you think of a Fringe festival you immediately think of Edinburgh and its legendary cultural celebration held in August each year. Although if you happen to live anywhere in the bottom half of the UK, the prospect of travelling to Edinburgh for its Fringe Festival, for some, may be unpractical and unachievable.

Throughout the festival Netherhouse Farm will be transformed into an arena of multiple villages, with stalls, interactive gaming areas, chef demonstrations, helicopter rides, splash pools, hot tubs and virtual reality gaming.
The general theme of what promises to be a highly entertaining family event is health, fitness and creativity. Asides the 500+ stalls, top DJs, dance workshops, interactive snow areas and tournament gaming shows will be put on in an event that ‘reflects the people and offers most sectors an opportunity to participate.’
The People’s Fringe festival’s emphasis on sport is designed to give sportsmen and women from sports that will not be at the London 2012 Olympics the opportunity to take centre stage.
