If you can see this legendary landmark, you’ll be able to observe the explosive night time drama unfold. It has to be said that the best views of the display are from the South Bank, Westminster Bridge, Victoria Embankment and Waterloo Bridge.
You should also be aware that special cordoned off areas are designated for the display and start to fill from 21.00 hours onwards. All of the best spots are taken well before the midnight hour.
New Year’s Eve in London, queuing up to three hours before the event might be a tad excessive and likely to leave you with frost bitten toes, certainly by eleven o’clock you should be safely ensconced in position to enable for top firework viewing – A wee dram in a hip flask will help keep you warm!
