We are now mid-way through our extensive refurbishment here at The Wyndham Grand London, Chelsea Harbour. We’re still on plan to complete by January 2010, which will see our accommodation and surroundings move on to a whole new level.

We have focused the refurbishment on three major areas, which we’ll be bringing you updates about as we go:

• The penthouse floor – This will include three meeting rooms, an executive lounge (right) and four exquisite penthouses complete with subtle fashion themes overlooking the London skyline. Due to be completed by July 2009.
• The conference and ballroom facilities on the lower ground floor. The ballroom will have the capacity to seat 600 people with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the yachts in the harbour.
• The complete transformation of the foyer and bar area – This will include a new reception area, harbour-side meeting room, shop and comfortable lounge area.
• We are honing the entire development around complete luxury and tranquillity for our guests, and thanks to our waterside location in the prestigious Chelsea Harbour we have a fantastic location that achieves an escape from the city.
